Dean Griffin Memorial Skeet Shoot Highlights!
When it comes to pulling together for their very own, ABAT never falls short! And they always have a blast in the process!
On April 9, ABAT hosted its ninth annual Dean Griffin Memorial Skeet Shoot & Crawfish Boil at the Elm Fork Shooting Sports in Dallas. Each year, the ABAT community comes together for a day of fun to raise funds in support of one of their very own. When late ABAT Board member and industry leader, Dean Griffin, passed away in 2019 at the age of 56, the association renamed its annual skeet shoot in his memory. The event serves as a fundraiser to raise proceeds toward a college fund ABAT established for Dean’s daughter, Natalie.
The event attracts members, vendors and sponsors who come out to take part in all the excitement this event has to offer from the sport, to prizes, hand-rolled cigars and cajun lunch!
ABAT Board member Logan Payne had two teams in the competition and one of them took home the Top Team Title! Congrats to Joe McFarland, Matt Grider, Alan Stewart and Clinton Montfort (Payne’s Collision).
Congrats also go to the following winners: Top Shooter (Expert Level): Ty Fair (Texas Towing) Top Shooter (Intermediate Level): Rick Moore (Moritz Dealerships) and Top Shooter (Beginner Level): Chris Wortham (Moritz Dealerships).
